Overdue fines

0.30 euros / item / day (VAT 0%).

A maximum of 10 euros per item may be charged for overdue loans. An outstanding debt of 5 euros or more will result in the loss of borrowing rights.

If you return or renew your loan no later than the second day after your loan has expired, you will not be charged with the overdue fine. After this, an overdue fine will accumulate daily.

Replacing damaged or lost materials

The replacement price for lost or damaged material is its recommended retail price. If price information is not available, a replacement price of 10 euros will be charged.

Alternatively, customers may elect to replace the lost or damaged material with an acceptable copy (same or newer edition) which must be given to the library.

Reservation

Reserving materials is free of charge.

A fee of 1 euro / item will be charged for any reservations that are not collected.

Interlibrary loans in Finland

Free of charge for students, staff and projects of Xamk.

10 euros (VAT 0%) for other customers.

Free of charge for libraries.

International interlibrary loans

50 euros (VAT 0%) for all customer groups.

Library specialist work and information skills guidance

Free for Xamk students, staff and projects.

76.00 euros/hour for customers outside of Xamk (VAT 24%).
